 Gary has been a business owner for more than 40 years, managing a number of business entities from start-up to final sale. In 2007 Gary sold a longstanding family business and now functions as an advisor and consultant to other business owners who can benefit from the resources, experience and networks that he has brought together over the years. The center point of his business solutions is a process to reengage existing employees as independent contractors. This process which vastly improves the financial situation of key employees as well as increasing the employer's profitability has a positive cost impact and fits well with a number of other solutions he has to offer. Gary has been a youth leader in the scouting organization for 45 years and continues as a Trainer 2 training new scouting leaders. In 2006 he was awarded the Certificate for Meritorious Conduct by Scouts Canada for orchestrating a winter rescue deep in the Rocky Mountains. The people who were at the scene report that they young man taken to medical care by helicopter with a fractured Femur would not have survived if it was not for Gary's immediate action and proper care. |
